The Saturday family go to Japan to investigate a disturbance by a crytid called the Hibagon. After their first encouter with the animal Zak realizes he can't 'communicate' with the cryptid and also it can talk. When they encouter the Hibagon a second time he explains to the family that his name is Professor Talu Mizuki.Using his mind transfer device the professor switched bodies with the Hibagon to stop his employer and crime lord Shoji Fuzen. However things go wrong when the machine was destroyed and the professor lay trapped in the body of a cryptid. The professor finally find Fuzen to exact his revenge but is stopped by the Saturdays.
